About Us

Under the terms of the Rainy River First Nations Trust Agreement, the Community Fund Trustees have the responsibility of identifying expenditures beneficial to the RRFN membership and recommending the funding of those expenditures from the assets of the RRFN trust fund.

Accordingly, the Community Fund Trustees will from time to time be defining various Community Purposes projects and recommending the funding of those projects.

In addition, given that community priorities should be determined by the RRFN membership itself, the Community Fund Trustees are requesting proposals from RRFN members for projects which members believe would meet the criteria noted below and thereby constitute expenditures beneficial to the RRFN membership.

The purpose of these Guidelines is to assist members by setting out the procedures members should follow for the submission of funding proposals to the Community Fund Trustees.
